2019 Subaru Forester vs Subaru Outback - Two Brothers

Subaru is currently working on new models to make all of its fans happy. In the near future we expect such vehicles as 2019 Subaru Forester and 2019 Subaru Outback. What to choose?

Upcoming Forester is said to be based on Subaru Viziv Concept in terms of exterior design. The whole body of this SUV will look even sleeker and will feature the latest tendencies. As for the headlights, they’re going to be based much on Viziv Concept as well. You can also expect flared fenders. The grille will be sleek as well. It is said that the vehicle will experience size changes but no details yet.

While 2019 Forester follows modern trends 2019 Outback stays rather simple and functional. It has a new spoiler though and a strict looking bumper. It will also have graceful lines and stylish curves. The windshield frame is inclined much more now so the vehicle looks like it was geometrically verified.

Interior - similarities

Inside part of new Forester keeps delivering practical and comfortable experience. For example, its seats provide long ride without feeling tired. All the directions are made bearing a lot of space in mind. You can also enjoy a huge cargo space. At the same time the interior of 2019 Forester will be better equipped. There will be new materials and finishes of higher quality. You can also use a better touchscreen with virtual controls.

2019 Outback fans will see that the new vehicle much resembles the recent Legacy inside. The model also provides a lot of comfort owing to more space. You can use driver’s seats which are electrically adjustable. Heated seats and all the modern multimedia systems are also here. Cruise control equipped with braking technologies is at your disposal as well.

Engines  - not a choice

2019 Subaru Forester will be advanced in terms of performance. Its new platform makes it possible to use petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric powertrains. As a result we expect new Forester to be of hybrid or plug-in hybrid type. In addition, there’re assumptions that this vehicle will include turbocharged unit providing more than 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque (which are currently available). Many sources say that there will be improved CVT with AWD system as standard.

What about 2019 Subaru Outback? It is expected to come with four-cylinder petrol engine which includes 2.5 litres and outputs 175 horsepower. Another one to be expected is petrol six-cylinder unit of 3.6 litres providing 256 horsepower. They both can be mated with CVT Lineatronic. AWD system is likely to be used here as well.
