2018 Nissan Sentra Will Be Refreshed For Youngsters
The Nissan Sentra was first introduced all the way back in 1982, it has been one of Nissan’s best selling models for some time, thanks to the combination of price, reliability and comfort.
It will never win a beauty competition, but 2018 Sentra is all about cost-effective motoring, mixed with reliability and it fits the bill perfectly.
Nissan haven’t really said much officially about the new model, but this could just be that as the car sits at the lower end of the market, they don’t have people lining up to find out information about it.

|Contents||The 2018 Sentra Nismo is the whole new modification for the car, unavailable before. It has 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, coupled with a manual transmission, large 18-inch rims of special design, high-performance tires, updated sporty interior and special bucket seats. The exact specs of this modification hasn't revealed yet, but it has to be the fastest Sentra available.|
In case you would like something hot, there are at least a couple of charged versions of Sentra. To be exact, it is SR Turbo and Nismo versions. It is powerful enough to provide joy while driving, but not as expensive as some hot hatches from VW or Ford.
SR is a sport-oriented version of Sentra, features large 17-inch rims, larger front ventilated disc brakes, rear spoiler, sport seats, etc. But the fact is the car is not fast - just 124 HP plus CVT transmission, which is by default not the best choice for high speeds. SR Turbo has 188 HP version of the same engine, plus the possibility to install 6-speed manual, which is obviously is way better. It is not even closer to Maxima, but still enough for a compact car.

We don’t expect to see the 2018 Nissan Sentra review anytime before the later part of 2017; we haven’t even seen a pre-production model yet, so they will be some way off
Aimed at the budget conscious motorist and youngster, the Nissan Sentra 2018 is cheap motoring; the base model will start in the region of $17,000, pick a higher trim level and you could be paying up to $21,000, but certainly not much more than that.
2018 Nissan Sentra Redesign and Interior
Given that Nissan refreshed the Sentra completely last year, we don’t think that much will change with the appearance of the 2018 model. Perhaps a minor styling job on the front and rear end, and more tech fitted as standard.
Inside the vehicle, again, not much will change. However, aside from the equipment already listed, we will see a few minor tweaks to the styling, but it really will only be centered on finishes and trim colors; line up a 2016 model and a 2018 Sentra model, and you’d be hard-pressed to spot the differences.

Speaking of standard tech; the Sentra comes with LED lighting front and rear, air conditioning, powered adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, USB and Bluetooth as standard, that’s just the base model, as you go further up the range, you can have options such as rear view camera, touchscreen and a myriad of safety equipment.
Under the hood of the Sentra 2018 model year, we’re only getting the same 1.8 liter 4-cylinder gas engine, this churns out 130 BHP and 128 lb/ft of torque; it really isn’t going to set the world alight, but it’s enough to make it usable on the highway and return around 32 MPG combined. Transmission will be either a 6-speed manual or two speed CVT affair.
