As for 2018 F-150 by Ford, it will also have redesigned taillamps and a tailgate with a horizontal appliqué. You will able to choose between wheels from 17 to 22 inches.

The truck by Chevy will no doubt show off new curves bumpers of the same color as the whole body. The vehicle is going to have a more elegant shape which will not be bad for the overall performance.

Interior Features

As for inside part of both cars, it is said that 2018 Ford F-150 will have seats of new colours. Thus Platinum trim will offer a Dark Marsala hue while Limited trim will offer a Navy Pier theme. The biggest mystery is about King Ranch variant which is going to come with Kingsville seats. Sounds really luxurious.

2018 Chevy Silverado isn’t going to stay aloof. You can expect extremely luxurious seats. Upholstery of premium class will include the best type of leather. The vehicle will also provide a higher quality of ride as promised.

They both are good for saving fuel. 2.7 EcoBoost type is back again improved with direct-injection technology. 3.5-litre EcoBoost and 5.0-litre V8 are said to be more powerful. It is said that these units will be paired with 10-speed automatic transmission. The biggest news is about diesel arrival. Ford has officially approved these rumors but they haven’t revealed anything interesting. As far as we know the diesel won’t be available at launch. It is going to arrive a bit later (presumably in autumn).

Let’s talk about new Silverado now. There’s not much to tell in fact because there’re no official promises yet. According to what we know General Motors will install 5.3-litre EcoTec3 V8 unit. If so it is a powerful reply to Ford F-150 EcoBoost variants. It will be good for providing around 355 hp and 383 lb-ft. of torque.
